Hot, Hot, Hot! I think it's safe to say the summer heat has rolled into Utah! Naturally that meant finding an excuse to cool down, so Rachel and I made a trip down to Seven Peaks in Provo. We spent the entire afternoon riding the slides and relaxing in the wave pool and lazy river. We even worked up the courage to ride the "Jagged Edge" slide. That's one of the big ones with steep drops, although not nearly as crazy and steep as the other 2 slides that we couldn't muster the courage to try. After six hours in the water park, Rachel and I were exhausted so we headed home.

We went our separate ways and relaxed a little before going to my parents house to celebrate my sweet baby sister Savannah's birthday with cake, ice cream and presents. Bob and I went out on a limb and bought her a Dr. Who DVD, the only one we could find which was Season 7 part 2. Luckily it was a pretty sturdy limb because she loved it! After the celebration, Savannah taught us the ins and outs of her new favorite game, Farkle, and we enjoyed a nice long game of it out on the patio until I finally won (barely beating out my mother!) It was a really fun Saturday!
