Superbowl Sunday

This weekend was a lot of fun! Saturday my nephew Russell was baptized into the mormon church, and afterward we had snacks in the church's primary room. Since Bob and I hadn't seen Russell since before his birthday, we hadn't gotten the chance to give him a birthday present yet so I brought it along with me!

The idea for his gift that I
got from Pinterest
The balloons had to be tied
down or they got stuck on the
high vaulted ceilings
Russell holding his gifts, we gave
him a cars game and extra
cars to go with it.
After everyone left, Ryan and Lisa took me to lunch with them at the Macaroni Grill. The food was good, and the company was great, but the service could have used some work! Despite the poor service it was a good time and I enjoyed getting to spend time with my in-laws and of course Mimi, Russell and Ryan!

On Sunday it was time for the 2nd Annual Bell Superbowl Party. I was in charge of decorations, and I thought I went all out getting table clothes, plates, cups, platters, serving bowls, balloons, banners, paper football lanterns and dangly streamers. However, my preparations were nothing compared to my parents. They had hoagies, buffalo wings, pizza, nachos, 3 or 4 different kinds of chips, a cheese ball, 2 different dips, a veggie tray, pretzels and cupcakes. I also brought my Sister-in-law Tessa's amazing Spinach Artichoke Dip that I love so much and Rachel made some dip as well. Needless to say, there was plenty of food! The company was great too, my dad convinced my mom to stay and play, Rachel, Kelsey and her boyfriend James, Savannah, and of course Bob and I. We were all cheering for the 49ers, but honestly not surprised at all when they lost. 49er's aren't really any one's top team, we just liked them more than the Ravens, so we didn't really feel too invested when they let us down. We all had a great time, watching the game, cheering, eating, and having balloon fights during the power outage!

Savannah's face paint, she went all out!

Me and my man, I tried to give him football

Kissing my man!
The balloons, definitely the best part of the night!

Peaceful sleeping Rachel....

Lets use the balloons as hair decor!

By far the highlight of the night: Mom VS. Dad, Balloon Wars!

Mom acting all innocent.... with a handful of
