Since I haven't seen Sarah since her birthday party in January, it was time for a girls date. Sarah already had a night planned with Corrin, but Corrin had been sick and wasn't sure if she would still make it so I became the "back-up date." Corrin ended up getting better in time, but they still asked me to come along.
After meeting up with my girlie's, we headed downtown where we were planning on going to an art show. The show we were going to go to was closed on Saturdays though so instead we went to The Leonardo, a museum downtown. It was actually pretty interactive, so we had a lot of fun playing in all the exhibits. After we had our fun, we went to Settebelo for some real Italian style pizza. Corrin was pretty worn out so she went home after dinner, but Sarah and I went to wish our friend Cassie a Happy Birthday at Cheers to You. I was playing DD, so I didn't drink anything. After a couple fun hours, we went back to Sarah's where we watched For A Good Time Call and Frozen. For A Good Time Call was great. It was funny, entertaining and it had a great ending. I will be unpopular for saying this, but Frozen was just OK. Too many people talked Frozen up, "It's the best movie ever", "Best Disney movie of all time", "It's better than Tangled", "You're going to love it!" etc. It didn't meet my expectations though, which sucks because I wanted to like it. After the movie was over, we went to sleep. I didn't sleep very well or very long since I missed my husband and cuddling next to him so I took off early in the morning to cuddle up to my man and get some more rest.
It was a really fun girls night, and I missed hanging out with Sarah so I'm really happy that I went. Maybe next time I won't sleep over though...
