Rachel Turns 22!

Rachel is 22! Sunday we celebrated Rachel's birthday. We gave Rachel her present, a book called The Elite, which she had been asking for. Then we headed to the dining room for some delicious spaghetti dinner my mom made, and did cake and ice cream. We hung out with the family joking around and laughing together for a while longer, but we couldn't stay too long. We had a date night at Shelby's to watch the new episode of The Walking Dead, but we enjoyed the hours we were there. (I could have sworn we took pictures, but they disappeared! If I find them I will add them later!)

Sometimes people ask me if I feel old watching my sisters have birthdays and get older, and I can honestly say no. I have grown up with them, and so it seems only natural. With Rachel it's even easier. I think she is more mature than I am so I have a hard time sometimes remembering how young she is! It is kind of funny thinking that she is now the same age that I was when I got married though... Anyway, Happy Birthday Rachel! Thanks for being one of my best friends for the last 22 years, and for being the sweet, funny, smart and beautiful woman you are! I love you!
